Brittany Fletcher

Brittany will complete her M.S. in Communicative Disorders from the University of Louisville in Fall 2019. Along with her graduate studies, she served as the president of the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association-UofL Chapter. She was also involved, as a graduate research assistant, in the research on the effects of head and neck cancer treatment on swallowing. Brittany aspires to work with adults with intellectual disabilities by facilitating skill development within the community and building skills through augmentative training. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University where she majored in Elementary Education and minored in Learning and Behavioral Disorders. She has taught in the Swedish school system in Linkoping, working with immigrant/refugee students and children with Autism. Brittany loves travelling and has visited numerous countries in Europe, Central America, and Asia. When Brittany is unable to travel, she works with Catholic Charities Ministry to tutor immigrants and refugees in her hometown. She enjoys food, music, sports, reading and travelling!
