Karen Vang, M.A., CCC-SLP

Karen earned her BA and MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Chico. While living in Ghana, she was able to educate and provide services in speech and language to a local special education school. This experience solidified her passion and commitment to speech therapy. As such, she has worked in early intervention and with the school age population in the home setting through a private practice. She enjoys parent coaching, teaching the PECS method to clients and families, implementing Social Thinking with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and providing voice therapy to adults with Parkinson’s Disease. She has a healthy addiction to traveling and has gone to over 15 countries (and counting). Her 2019 New Year’s resolution is to visit at least 6 national parks, so in her free time, you can find her hiking, traveling, or kickboxing.”
