By fostering a deeper understanding of how different cultures approach the body, wellness, rehabilitation, fitness, and sports science management. This program will reveal transferable approaches to wellness found in booming worldwide fitness industry, rooted in traditional wellness, and enhance participants ability to manage cross-cultural initiatives focused around Sports Science and public health.
This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to apply behavior-analytic principles and procedures to produce socially important behavior change in children with autism or other developmental disabilities across cultures. Students will assist in data collection, assessment procedures, graphing, behavior plan development, skill acquisition, program development, and other activities to decrease problem behavior and increase appropriate behavior.
